  • First of all mix the ingredients like sausage meat, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, nutmeg, and sage in a bowl. Then form the mixture in the shape of sausages, into long cylinders, about 1 inch thick.
  • Then you should prepare the Puff Pastry. To prepare that, dust the surface with flour and roll out the puff pastry to 1/4 inch thickness. Then cut into a rectangle shape to fit the sausage.
  • Now you have to assemble the roll. You should place the sausage on one edge of the pastry and brush the opposite side with water roll tightly. Then seal the edges of the roll.
  • Now beat an egg and add some salt to it. Then brush it on the top of the roll and make small slits for steam.
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. 
  • Serve warm with Heinz ketchup if desired.
